Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you use YourBedtimeStory and its subscriptions.

Effective date: 2026-03-13. Questions about privacy or these terms can be sent to privacy@yourbedtimestory.com or support@yourbedtimestory.com.

1. Service description

YourBedtimeStory provides family-focused bedtime stories, audio playback, sleep-routine tools, and related subscription features.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement. Children may use the service only under the supervision and control of a parent or legal guardian, and you are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

3. Subscription and billing

Paid plans may be sold on the web through Paddle and on mobile through Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions managed through RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you authorize the applicable billing provider to charge the selected plan price, taxes, and any disclosed recurring amounts. Before purchase, the checkout or store flow should show the recurring price, billing interval, and how cancellation works.

4. Content, license, and storage

As between you and us, you may use generated stories for your family's personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and any rights that belong to our licensors or service providers. We may store prompts, generated outputs, and related metadata to operate the service, prevent abuse, improve safety, and allow replay.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, scrape content, probe security, bypass subscriptions or quotas, or use the service to create unlawful, infringing, harmful, or age-inappropriate material.

6. Content safety and moderation

We may block, remove, or refuse content or accounts that present safety, fraud, or abuse risks. Safety systems are part of the service, but parents remain responsible for deciding whether a generated story is appropriate for a particular child.

7. Availability and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

8. Suspension, termination, and governing law

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or misuse the service. These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply where you live.

Billing and cancellation disclosures

  • The checkout flow should clearly show the recurring price, billing interval, and whether the plan renews automatically.
  • If a free trial or introductory offer is available, the checkout flow should disclose when billing starts and what price applies after the offer ends.
  • Cancel before the next renewal date to stop future charges. Web subscriptions are managed through Paddle links or support; mobile subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation does not retroactively void the current paid period unless required by law or the billing provider's rules.
  • Refund eligibility and charge handling depend on applicable law and the rules of the billing provider or app store that processed your purchase. Apple and Google purchases follow their store rules, while web purchases follow Paddle's billing flow plus any mandatory consumer rights.
  • We will give advance notice of material pricing changes before they apply to a future renewal where required by law.

Acceptable Use Policy

  • Do not automate or amplify requests in ways that overload or abuse the service.
  • Do not bypass subscription, quota, parental, or safety controls.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, extract training data from, or copy the service at scale.
  • Do not submit prompts or inputs intended to create illegal, explicit, hateful, or otherwise unsafe content.

Enforcement ladder

  1. Warning or feature restriction
  2. Temporary suspension
  3. Permanent termination
